Day Four / Monday

We had a fabulous outdoor dinner at Bethany's and Bruce's, and there was a whole gang there of cousins. We sat out under the trees, under the stars. We have never been so surrounded by relations! We were home early, but guess what - Tashie's cottage soon filled up with visitors. We retired from the Ashram, because we just didn't feel up to socializing, but within minutes, half the crowd from the Ashram was here! Bruce to take a shower, Bethany to check her email, etc etc etc.
This morning we went on a beautiful walk along the Metolius.

Day Three / Sunday

Sunday breakfast done fabulous! weather continues to be absolutely gorgeous. No plans at the moment, but I am sure it will be a full day. Going out for dinner at Bruce's and Bethany's tonight. Clarke worked on the sleeping platform - actually finished it, with two lovely assistants, Liam and Brian. Liam and eliza moved a stack of cement blocks to a more discrete location. Brian had a  nap in the hammock. . . it was a lazy day for some of us!

Second day

We went for a wonderful walk down to the Emporium at Lake Sherman. It was a fabulous store - fabulous fabulous! And I nearly got a shirt that said something that was not appropriate for me. But Tashie says that I can always pretend. Both parties zonked for a portion of the day.
Then we went exploring, and saw the Square House, and the
Tea House, and then the other cottage, Kenny and Tashie's cabin.
The we drove in to Sisters to pick up some Triple Sec so that Liam could make Mojitos. And were very impressed, and Liam can hardly wait to get back to buy a jacket, and cowboy boots, and a cowboy shirt. I said that I would help him with his selections. We had a lovely dinner of chicken sausages, a salad of heirloom tomatoes, and braised rainbow chards. And Clarke's bottle of Dirty Laundry wine, which was magnifico. And off to bed quickly for another wonderful sleep.

First Day

We arrived in Lake Sherman late in the afternoon. The mountain photo is the view from Tashie's porch. Mount Jefferson is magnificent.Tashie and I saw these deer across the creek while we were sitting on the porch. And here's Tashie sitting in the living room after a delicious dinner of roasted
chicken and . . . salad and corn. We ate dinner on the porch in full view of the mountain.
Liam and Eliza arrived long after we were finished with dinner and checking up on the news. So we unpacked
more groceries and had a little visit before turning in.
Liam is tired from the long drive!
